So much for my boring checkups. Yesterday’s checkup was very “exciting” to say the least….
- Protein in urine
- HIGH blood pressure
- very very swollen hands/feet/legs
(Class…can you say preeclampsia?) 
So I was sent (very very quickly…one would almost say “rushed”) for blood tests, an NST, and additional monitoring over at the hospital. Oh, and he gave me an RX for blood pressure meds.
The monitoring went okay and I was released later on. BUT, I’ve been told to take it easy and they’ll check everything next week. And if things don’t get better…or if they get worse…Thor is going to be making his appearance within the next two weeks (probably will have a scheduled induction during the first week of November) 
— As an added note from this morning, blood pressure meds are making me feel really yucky. Still alive though (LOL). But feel like I shouldn’t be. ugh. As if pregnancy weren’t “fun” enough, right?
Off to try and eat something…then rest. I think that’s about all I’ll be doing for the next week or so…resting.
I am so ready for this little dude to make his entrance to the world….
I don’t think he’ll wait 37 more days. Or maybe that’s just wishful thinking…
….I updated the Belly page with a 33 week shot… in my new PJ’s and baring the belly to the world for the first time! 
Went shopping with mom at walmart today and here is just a small sample of the things she bought….
Well I went grocery shopping today. And now I’m exhausted…LOL
I ran into a couple of friends – one of which has been very ill lately and I was so happy to see him up and about. 
Unfortunately my eyeBROW has not yet been waxed and I felt like crap…ugh.
Good news is that I’m going for an eyebrow wax tomorrow…yay!
So…while I was shopping I managed to get a case of diapers for $10 and a tub of wipes for $1.50 — I used the store sale plus my manufacturer coupons… I’m so proud of myself!
It’s official. I hate the 3rd trimester. I am getting NO sleep and I’m friggin’ exhausted. And I have such. bad. heartburn. 
Yeah…that’s my whine-fest for this morning.
Now back to our regular scheduled programming….

I’m posting this picture for a contest… hoping to win the Summer Breeze set (country pine)- because I just love the curvy lines! And now with the second child on the way…we’re going to need new furniture.
Well here I am. 32 weeks pregnant and I finally have the crib set up. Honestly, I never thought I’d see the day where I was getting ready for my baby to arrive. Made by me…it’s crazy. By the time he arrives it will be 3 years since we started seriously trying to build our family. And nearly a year since we lost our first baby. It’s been a long time and a lot of struggles to get to this point. And now I’m completley ready to be done this pregnancy…I’m so anxious to finally meet my baby boy.
We live in a 2 bedroom apartment so for now Ashley & Thor will have to share a room… so here’s what it looks like today:

We finally went and bought the last thing we “need” before baby arrives… I’m pretty excited. Now we just need to set up the crib (once the new hardware arrives from the manufacturer). edit: I forgot to mention that I lost the hardware for the crib… sometime between taking it down from when Ashley used it until now… so now I’m waiting for a new set of hardware to be shipped from the manufacturer… $50. UGH!
