6weeks 4days…
The dentist was okay today… my teeth are ‘perfect’ and I didn’t even projectile vomit on him! YAY!
But after all that scraping and prodding…my poor pearly-whites are so sore. Which is really bad, because I’m starving.
And speaking of starving… morning sickness is kicking my ass. I need to ask Sam the name of the stuff she took during her pregnancy… she already told me but I forgot…
I’m also having wicked pains in my left side for the last few days… I’m going to the doctor tomorrow to talk about that and the morning sickness. I get so hungry that I cry… because I feel so sick that nothing sounds appetizing.
…I can’t wait for this stage of the pregnancy to be over. I would pick “Big As A House” stage to “Can’t Eat Anything” stage, any day!

Peppermint tea. It saved me during the worst of the morning sickness. Plus, it’s naturally decaffeinated, so baby won’t be an addict from birth! (S/he can come by it naturally later in life!)
I’ve been reading your blog for a little while now and am so excited for you!! Woo hoo!
just delurking to let you know that lots of women find Zofran very helpful (and it’s okay in early pregnancy). In the non-medicine world there are always “preggy pops” or ginger candies, which worked for me (I’m 20 weeks) ….can’t wait to see about the ultrasound on wednesday!
How often have you been eating? I notice that if I wait too long I am starving and almost can’t eat anything cause I am so sick. The Dr told me to eat 6 small meals a few hours apart. Just a thought…hope you can start eating more soon!
Nothing much worked for me I’m afraid, and the only thing I could eat for the first few weeks of my first pregnancy were original pringles! And yes, I did put on a lot of weight! I, too, preferred the big as a house stage. Much more comfortable! One thing which helped a little bit was that I kept a packet of plain biscuits by my bed so that I could have one as soon as I woke up – it seemed to keep off the sickness for long enough to get some breakfast down me. Hope it eases up soon. x
