My doctor saw me that afternoon and basically explained away every symptom and feeling I had and told me that that I was insane without actually saying it. They nurse was super mean because HER pee test was negative (it was late afternoon). Low and behold the next day he calls and says I am pregnant is totally surprised I had a positive test at home because my numbers were so low. But before I got that phone call I cried and cried and told my husband it was all a mistake. All the while my friends told me a second line is a second line. You are SOOOOOO pregnant! There is no paying out of pocket for tests you want but your doctor won't order... *sigh* I'm sure he'll order them on Monday. It's all good. Sorry ladies… I live in CANADA. Stupid doctor! I'm with Mel, you could probably walk into a clinic (Labcorp) and get the test done without an order. You'd probably have to pay out of pocket, though. Yay for the second line! So... I just have to wait until Monday. I'm feeling really good about this one though... my temp is up, not down like last time, and I'm not cramping or bleeding. I just feel bloated, hungry, and tired. :) Nope, no way to have it done on Friday… all the labs are closed except for emergencies (the one in the hospital).

(I can't believe that doctor) The line, no matter how dark or light it is, is always a POSITIVE (+) ... ALWAYS ... When I tested (it was a two-pack) the line was very, very light ... but ... I still had to call the phone number on the test-box (just to be certain). They had to reexplain that a line is a line, is a line ... (I was experiencing every emotion, and I wanted answers!) They explained, like I said, that it was, indeed, a positive (+) ... and that was the beginning of my elation (huge, huge, huge, understatement) ... Then, I called my doctor, the one that I had just seen before we relocated, (thank God I had a doctor, at this point) to have him order a blood-test confirming the pregnancy. He did ... no problems. Well, we ran down to the "blood" place, and they said I would have answers by the end of their working day ... 5:00p.m. I couldn't wait, but ... had to. Anyway, they called, and the rest is history ... (blissful history ...) By the way, I retested, using the OTHER stick, when I was approximately six-months pregnant, and it was SUPER dark ... I thought that was funny, just a funny thing to do ... Anyway, try to get another doctor to get a blood-draw ... It's imortant, Erin ... The orders (I believe) can come from any doctor ... I would think so ... Please, try ... Good luck, and God bless .. Brooke (sorry so long) *sigh* Oh, Erin … (I can’t believe that doctor)

Congratulations, sweetie--a line is a line. Any chance there’s a lab who would draw it (as opposed to the doctor’s office) on Friday too? Congratulations, sweetie–a line is a line.
