oh the pain…
2008 February 27
I am having really really intense pain…and I’m worried it could be OHSS. If it doesn’t let up soon I’ll be going to the doctor to find out.
I know some of you are wondering why I wouldn’t go right away… but it might interest you to know I have had sever pain near my ovaries all my life – off and on. And every time I see a doctor about it, they dismiss me and tell me it’s all in my head.
It hurts… and I hope like hell it’s not OHSS…because I just don’t want to abandon this cycle….

Oh, boy…
I really hope it’s all okay. You’ll be in my thoughts, and prayers. Please, keep us updated … We worry about you …
Peace,
Brooke
Hi Erin…
You know your body best, so don’t let any of us tell you what you should or shouldn’t do.
If it were me though, I’d go and see a doc. Just in case. And what if there’s something bad going on there that you might be able to avoid?
Like I said – don’t let any of us influence you. Follow your gut. Or your heart. Whichever you trust more! c”,)
I know you think you should wait, but you really should get that checked out. Hopefully it’s nothing serious like OHSS, but if there is something wrong, then your Dr.s will at least be able to react quickly enough to save the cycle. This happened to me and unfortunately it was a sign that my ovaries had developed too many eggs..it was very painful. I had pain and pressure from my pelvis to my back. Since we had too many eggs we were told to scrap the cycle and not to have sex for the remainder of the 2w. I’ve learned through many difficult mistakes that early detection means early prevention. I hope this helps you. Best of luck to you and DH. update us soon. =)
