a very sad story…
My dad’s friend was on his way to Mexico last week….and just as he was about to board the plane his daughter phoned and said she needed to speak to him, that it was important. His reply was “I’m only going to be gone a week. Can’t this wait until I get home?” And then he hung up and got on the plane….the next day she killed herself. Not only that… but she was pregnant. From what I’ve been told, she was excited about the pregnancy, but then her boyfriend found out and started sending her harassing emails telling her that she was worthless, ugly, fat, and nobody wanted her…including him. He (apparently) even went so far as telling her that the World would be better off if she just killed herself.
*sigh* Thinking about what that girl was going through breaks my heart. It’s truly terrible. My heart is breaking for her, her unborn child, and her family left behind.

Wow, that is tragic. And what makes it even worse is that it was avoidable too. How very very sad…
